The plan is conduct an intervals session on Thursday 15 May.

We will meet at the pool at 18.30 then jog warm up to the Ford garage.  From there we can do a series of intervals over varying distances to improve our top end speed and speed endurance!!  Jog recovery back to the pool.

See you there,

Ian

Hill Session

We are going to start our weekly run sessions this week with a Hill Session.

Meet at Tadcaster Swimming Pool at 6.30pm.

The run will consist of a nice steady warm up of about 10 mins. The hill we will probably be doing tomorrow is a shortish one behind Sainsburys. There may be differing abilities – but the idea is to push yourself harder than you would do on a normal run. Each rep will be followed by recovery time and depending upon ability you might do 6 – 10 reps in total. Finally a nice steady group run back to the pool.
