A new type of event I’ve just come across….any takers??
Biathle is a continuous run/swim/run event with a transition between each element as you are not allowed to swim in your running shoes.  Distances vary depending on your age group which ranges from 7-70+ (so parents can take part as well).
The 1st event is on Sunday 17th April at the Ennerdale Leisure Centre in Hull which starts with a training session in the morning (ideal for beginners) at 10.00am and a competition in the afternoon.

The 2nd event is on Saturday 25th June starting at 3.00pm at Allerthorpe Lakeland Park near Pocklington which includes an Open Water swim and is also part of the 2016 British Biathle Series.  There is a team competition included in this event.

The 3rd event is to be held at Helmsley Open Air Pool, Helmsley in North Yorkshire starting at 10.00am, (the pool is heated).
The 4th event is called the “Biathle of the Roses”, a joint event with a team from Lancashire on Saturday 10th September and is also going to be part of the 2016 British Biathle Series.  Venue T.B.C.
