On the 10th of April, CycleSense will be hosting the inaugural Tadcaster Sportive.

£5 from each entry will go towards Martin House Children’s Hospice and the amazing work they do for children with life limiting conditions.

Find out more about Martin House by visiting their website

The town’s first ever sportive will take in some of the beautiful scenic country roads around Tadcaster and will feature two different routes of 60km and 100km.

The 60km route is something that anyone can have a go at. Flat smooth roads and a short enough distance give riders the chance to get their first sportive event under their belt.

The 100km route will provide riders with more of a challenge. The first half of the route will be mostly flat but the second half will feature more challenging terrain. The April date represents the perfect chance for riders to test themselves ahead of the season to come.

Fun for all the Family

You might choose to ride the sportive with your family, but if not CycleSense has got something planned so everyone can have a day out. On the day CycleSense will be hosting grass-track racing for the kids to keep them busy. On top of that we’ll also have a climbing wall, ping-pong and some other fun sporting activities for all to enjoy.
